Dr. Theresa Mannah-Blankson brings over 15 years of experience spanning academia, research, and central banking. Before joining UNC Charlotte, she served as an Assistant Professor of Economics at Messiah University and previously as an Economist and Policy Analyst at the Bank of Ghana, where she led Ghana's first Financial Stability Assessment Framework.
Her teaching and research center on macroeconomic policy, development economics, financial inclusion, and gender. She is deeply committed to inclusive and student-centered education, supporting young economists and policy thinkers to apply economics for social progress.
